You will not have to drive in heavy traffic to obtain the key to your rental. Nor will you have to face that traffic again to return your key on the day of departure, as is the policy with other rental agencies. (Some even charge you a penalty if the keys are not returned to their offices by 10 AM! YIKES!!!). With Bonnie, your beach house rental will be ready and unlocked for you at check-in time and you simply leave the keys when you depart.

Rather than risk renting directly from an owner, often out of state and unavailable, you have the assurance that every one of our rentals is inspected weekly, well maintained and is accurately pictured and described. No disappointing or upsetting surprises and management is right here on the Island to address any concerns.

And yes, she does offer some PET FRIENDLY rentals so that those with canine kids can bring them along. Also offered are pet-free rentals for those with allergies to four-footed people!

Bonnie Also gives first priority to your family if you would like to return to your rental the following year with an “early reserve” policy so that you do not lose out with the heavy volume of inquiries that come in all summer and early fall for the following year.

Bonnie Ames has been managing rentals on Drakes Island for over twelve years. Actually, Bonnie was a renter herself at Drakes for over 28 years before moving to the Island. Having owned Rent-A-Place–a rental agency in Saratoga Springs, NY–she brings over thirty years of experience as a Real Estate Broker and rental agent, as well as a first hand understanding of being a renter herself right here on Drakes Island.

All of her rentals have to meet very high standards for cleanliness, and are very well equipped. We do not offer any rental that does not meet our extremely high standards.
